Safety FAQ

Is hypnotherapy safe—and will I stay in control?

Your autonomy does not disappear when your attention becomes focused.

A balanced answer

Safety begins with fit and consent.

During a collaborative hypnotherapy session, you remain able to think, speak, ask questions, move, pause or stop. Suitability still depends on the person and their circumstances.

Rachel explains the process and checks your agreement. You choose what you share and which suggestions you use.

Hypnotherapy may be used alongside appropriate medical or mental-health care; it does not replace it. Medical symptoms, medication questions, severe or rapidly worsening mental-health concerns and situations outside Rachel’s scope require appropriate clinical support.
