Quick practical answers

A little more before you book.

Will I be asleep?

No. Hypnosis is focused attention, not sleep. You remain aware, although your attention may feel absorbed or settled.

Can I be made to reveal something?

No. You choose what you share. Hypnotherapy does not remove your judgement or values.

How long is a session?

The initial session is 80 minutes. Return sessions are 50 minutes.

What happens in the free 20-minute conversation?

It is a brief conversation with Rachel where you can ask questions and get a sense of whether working together feels right. It does not include hypnosis, and there is no pressure to book a full session afterwards.

What is the difference between hypnosis and hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis describes the experience of focused attention. Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic use of that experience within a professional session.

Can hypnotherapy and counselling be used together?

Yes. Rachel’s work brings counselling and clinical hypnotherapy together where that combination fits the person and their goals.

Ready to try?

You can book a full session, or begin with a free 20-minute conversation if you would prefer to talk first.

Every person is different and outcomes vary. Hypnotherapy may be used alongside appropriate medical or mental-health care; it does not replace it. This is not a crisis service.
